That's why I selected "WTF" and "No" for the link. Get this crap off of N4G. I don't mind differing viewpoints but I don't like them when they come from the company. Can we say biased?
That's not a good enough excuse. You don't build good customer relations by avoiding questions because you don't want to hear about what other companies are doing.
This was the perfect opportunity for MS to explain their reasoning and fill in the details but they didn't, which leads me to believe that they don't have a good explanation.
Yes, MS finally showed some new IP's. But that's coming after years of hardly having anything to offer the 360. Is MS going to abandon the Xbone near the end of its cycle like they did the 360? I tend to follow past trends and I don't like what MS has done for the past several years on the 360. They're going to have to prove to me that this time they'll be more dedicated to the games over the long haul.
Same. Seeing it in action didn't help my interest, either.
It's not better than PC in regards to controls. Especially if you play the Hunter. The really good Hunter players will move their mouse around extremely fast to fire and move almost simultaneously. You just about have to do that in D3 because that class is basically a glass cannon. If you get hit, you're dead in the harder levels. I seriously doubt you'll be able to do that with a controller.
When did Michael Gross become a game developer?
That's a minute of my life I'll never get back.
I couldn't have said it better. I lose interest in most open world games. It has to be done to near perfection to keep me interested. I'm not a fan of exploring. I'd rather be doing stuff than running around looking for stuff that in most cases do little to nothing.
The hate isn't due to the fact that they make good games. Activision makes some good games as well but many people hate them too. It's because of the practices that they force on the consumers. From DRM, online passes, overpriced DLC, requiring people to use Origin, etc. Many of the games they produce would be MUCH better if they didn't do the things they do.
No, I mean like how it was used in Killzone 3.
I'd like to see if the sensor bar could be used to aim in shooters. I wish they'd show a game utilizing that kinda like how the PS Move was used in shooters.
IMO, QTE's are QTE's. You can spin them anyway you like but they are all essentially the same thing. They flash something on the screen that tells you what to press and you have to do it as quickly as you can. I find nothing about them to be entertaining. I couldn't last more than 45 minutes with Heavy Rain because of how much they used them. The story may have been great but that's all a moot point because of how boring and repetitive QTE's are to me. And yes, the Q...
I personally can't stand QTE's. To me, they're a way for the dev to be lazy.
My question is, why didn't people say anything about Heavy Rain and it's use of QTE's? I'd seriously like to know. I've brought it up in the past and got bashed to oblivion for it.
I really don't get the hate by the Japanese. What's wrong with her?
I'm more pissed that someone thought that she'd look better with huge boobs and bigger eyes. To me, that's pathetic.
F2P can be done correctly but considering it's EA, I think you're right. It's going to be messed up.
As long as it's on PC as well, who cares what cards they're using.
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! So underrated. Just needed tweaking on combat and perhaps multiple ways of getting through a level.
Precedent. Just an FYI because what you said is probably going to start a poop storm of political BS on a gaming forum.
Bottom line for me: I won't buy ANY console that uses an anti-used game system. If other consumers would do the same, there's no way MS or anyone else would try to force it. They'd eventually go back and get rid of it.
If consumers were to accept an anti-used game system, that's when you'll see it become the norm and there's no way to un-break that seal.
You're not alone. I'm the same way.
